Responsibilities and Duties
- Higher Education Institution (HEI) Engagement
- Identify and establish partnerships with universities, colleges, autonomous institutions and technical institutions across India.
- Promote MEPSC qualifications, credit-based courses, apprenticeship opportunities, internships and skill certification programs.
- Facilitate the signing of Memorandam of Understanding (MoUs) with Higher Education Institutions. Coordinate with institutional leadership including Vice Chancellors, Directors, Principals, Deans, Placement Officers and Training & Placement Cells.
- Support integration of National Education Policy (NEP) and National Credit Framework (NCrF) aligned skill initiatives.
- Industry Partnership Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, corporates, chambers of commerce, industry associations and employer organizations.
- Identify opportunities for industry-funded skill development projects, CSR initiatives, apprenticeships, internships and placement collaborations.
- Facilitate employer participation in curriculum development, assessments and sector consultations.
- Build strategic partnerships that strengthen MEPSC’s industry ecosystem.
- Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with MEPSC’s mandate.
- Prepare business proposals, concept notes, presentations and partnership documents.
- Support revenue generation through institutional collaborations, sponsored programs, training projects and consultancy assignments.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective partners and monitor conversion rates.
- Advocacy & Events Management
- Plan, coordinate and execute conferences, workshops, seminars, roundtables, conclaves, webinars and stakeholder consultations.
- Manage advocacy campaigns promoting skill development, entrepreneurship, employability and industry engagement.
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, speaker management, sponsorships, event branding and post-event reporting.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with government departments, universities, industry bodies, training partners and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth implementation of collaborative projects.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain partnership databases, CRM records, MoU trackers and stakeholder directories.
- Prepare periodic reports on business development activities, partnership outcomes and event performance.
- Develop presentations, briefing notes, meeting minutes and management reports.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of Higher Education Institution partnerships established.
- Number of industry collaborations and MoUs executed.
- Business opportunities generated and converted.
- Revenue generated through institutional collaborations and Apprenticeship.
- Number and quality of advocacy events successfully organized.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Timely completion of reports, proposals and partnership documentation.
- Achievement of annual business development targets.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: • Bachelor's degree from any reputed University with relevant experience. • Preferred : Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Public Policy, Education Management, or related discipline.
Experience: • 3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Institutional Partnerships, Corporate Relations, University Engagement or Stakeholder Management. • Experience in the education, skill development, higher education, consulting or government ecosystem will be preferred. • Exposure to organizing conferences, workshops and stakeholder events is desirable.
