This Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time (the “Policy” or “Privacy Policy”), governs the Platform’s collection and use of your (“User” or “You” or “Your”) personal information.
Any Capitalized term not specifically defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to it under MEPSC’s Website Terms of Use.
MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council) collects and processes personal data, exclusively for the purpose of implementing and administering various skill development programs, designed, sponsored, or supported by MEPSC, NSDC, MSDE, or other authorized government agencies. This includes activities such as the registration, assessment, certification, and engagement of trainers, trainees, training centres, assessors, industry partners and other stakeholders involved in skill ecosystem operations (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
Company does not use or share User’s information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy, or in relevant parts of the Platform.
This Policy shall form an integral part of the Terms of Use of the Platform and shall be read along with the Terms of Use. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Policy. This Policy is governed by the laws of India irrespective of your location. By using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
This Website is intended for individuals of 18 years of age or more.

A. The personal information that the Company collects about Users depends on the context of their interaction with the Company and the features that Users use. The Company also collects and retains the information including personal information provided by training partner/center on behalf of certain individuals. The personal information may be held by the Company shall include but not be limited to Name of candidate full name, Occupation, Email Id, Contact number, Job Role etc.
B. In addition to the information collected and retained by the Company as mentioned in sub-clause (A) above, the Company may automatically collect certain technical and interactional data arising from Users’ access to and use of the Platform. This data is not actively submitted by the Users but is passively generated through their engagement with the Platform.
C. Such data may be collected using standard technologies and tools, and is used solely for legitimate business purposes, including enhancing user experience, ensuring the security and integrity of the Platform, diagnosing technical issues, and for analytics and performance optimization. The collection and use of this data shall be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
D. The Company does not collect any payments information processed by third-party payment gateway providers except for payment reference number/payment status once the payment transaction is completed.
When providing the Services/database, Company only processes personal information in accordance with the Terms of Use and applicable laws. The Company also uses personal information from or about its Users for the following purposes:

If You disclose to us any personal information relating to other people, you represent that You have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please mention “Withdrawal of consent for processing personal information” in your subject line of your communication. We will verify such requests before acting on Your request. In the event of revocation of Your consent the Company will have the right to discontinue the provision of Services through the Platform, or access to the Platform in whole or part to You. The revocation for withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing of any data or information based on the consent before its withdrawal.

In compliance of Rule 8 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011, the Company has in place physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect User’s personal information. User’s posting and sharing of personal information through the Platform constitutes User’s acceptance of the risk that Company cannot guarantee absolute security.
Company will store and process the personal information in a manner consistent with industry security standards, and as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention is required by applicable law. Company has implemented technical, organizational and administrative systems, policies, and procedures to help ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal information and to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access to or use of personal information. However, the Company understands that as effective as Company’s security measures are, no security system is impenetrable. Thus, Company cannot guarantee the security of Company’s database, nor can Company guarantee that information User supplies will not be intercepted while being transmitted to Company over the internet.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information including personal information that they submit to the Company by writing to company on their grievances email address. If upon modifying or changing the information earlier provided to Company, the Company finds it difficult to permit access to its Services/database to the User due to insufficiency/ inaccuracy of the information, then the Company may, in its sole discretion terminate the access to the Services/database provided to the User.
We retain your personal information for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. However, we may retain data related to you if there is a legal obligation to retain the data; if required to comply with any applicable statutory or regulatory retention requirement by law or required for the purpose of publishing any statistical reports etc.
MEPSC shall retain personal information and associated records only for as long as necessary to fulfill the lawful purposes for which it was collected, or for a minimum period of 180 days where required under applicable law, such as in connection with government investigations, legal claims, or statutory reporting obligations.
Where MEPSC functions in any capacity as an intermediary, it shall retain user information for 180 days after account deactivation or content removal, in compliance with Rule 3(1)(h) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, or for such longer duration as may be mandated by law or competent authority.

The Privacy Policy shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Privacy Policy shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India
