Assistant General Manager - Content & Training
Himanshu Chawla is a learning and workforce development professional with over 15 years of experience across skilling, education, digital learning, content strategy and organizational capability building. He currently serves as Assistant General Manager at the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), where he leads the design and implementation of national-level qualifications, learning & credit frameworks and capacity-building initiatives that support India’s evolving workforce and skilling ecosystem. In addition to overseeing curriculum and content development, he serves as a Master Trainer and leads training, stakeholder engagement and strategic media communication initiatives for the Council.
Throughout his career, Himanshu has collaborated with government institutions, affiliating bodies, schools & colleges, industry bodies and international organizations including GIZ, UNICEF, ILO and PMI to develop future-ready content and skilling solutions. Prior to MEPSC, he held leadership roles in the digital education and publishing sector institutions like Educomp, S.Chand and Planman, delivering learning and content solutions for globally recognized organizations such as TIME, Pearson, Scholastic, Marshall Cavendish, HMH and Nestlé. He also successfully led the development of three internationally acclaimed TIME bestsellers—World War II in 500 Photographs, Everything You Need to Know About the Bible and The Big Book of WHEN. He is also the author of the Employability Skills Handbook developed for NSDC’s Kaushal Mahotsav and is passionate about empowering individuals, strengthening institutions and creating sustainable impact through learning and leadership.
